This policy describes the conditions for cancelling Orders placed on the EkoPress platform, operated by EKO UNITED INVESTMENT SRL, and the refund process. This policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions and is to be read together with them and with the Delivery Policy.
1. Cancellation before publication
1.1. For as long as the article has not yet been published on the Portal, the Advertiser may request a change to, or cancellation of, the Order, from their Platform account or at office@ekopress.ro. Receipt of the request is confirmed within 3 business days at the latest.
1.2. In the event of cancellation before publication, amounts paid are refunded, less any irreversible costs already incurred (for example, writing services already performed for that Order).
2. Cancellation after publication
2.1. Once the article has been published on the Portal, the service is deemed performed. As a rule, refunding the price of a publication already carried out is not possible, except in cases of non-performance attributable to the Service Provider.
2.2. For Orders covering several Portals, performance is assessed per publication: for Portals on which the article was not published, the corresponding amounts are refunded in full (or the publication is replaced, with the Advertiser’s agreement).
2.3. If the Portal on which the article was published ceases operating, the situation is handled in accordance with the Delivery Policy, section 5.1 — through republication of the article, at no additional cost, on another Portal from the catalogue, with a comparable profile and at least equal value.
3. Consumer right of withdrawal (GEO 34/2014)
3.1. An Advertiser who is a consumer (a natural person acting outside their commercial or professional activity) may withdraw from the distance contract, without giving any reason, within 14 days from the date the contract was concluded, in accordance with Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014 on consumer rights, as subsequently amended and supplemented (including GEO no. 58/2022).
3.2. The publication service is performed at the Advertiser’s express request, expressed through the dedicated checkbox at checkout, by which the Advertiser requests that performance begin before the withdrawal period expires. Under these conditions, pursuant to GEO no. 34/2014, as amended: (a) after full performance of the service (publication of the article), the right of withdrawal is lost; (b) where withdrawal is exercised during performance, the consumer-Advertiser owes the proportional value of the services already performed, and the difference is refunded.
3.3. The withdrawal request is sent to office@ekopress.ro, through an unequivocal statement — including by using the standard withdrawal form model set out in the annex to GEO no. 34/2014 (part B), reproduced below.

4.3. A corrective invoice is issued for refunded amounts and sent electronically.
